What should I do if a loved one has just passed away?

We will explain what needs to happen next and guide you through the arrangements.
Depending on where the death occurred, we can coordinate the appropriate transfer of your
loved one into our care and assist with the required documentation.

Do you provide traditional Hindu funeral services?

Yes.
We provide Hindu funeral and cremation services with respect for your family’s customs and
traditions.
Practices can vary between Fiji Indian, North Indian, South Indian, Gujarati, Tamil and other
communities. Your family’s customs come first.
We work with your preferred priest or can assist in arranging an experienced Pandit.

Can you arrange a Pandit?

Yes.
We have access to experienced Hindu priests and can assist your family in arranging a Pandit
for the funeral and Antyesti rites.
If your family already has a preferred priest, we are happy to work with them.

Do you handle the paperwork?

Yes.
We coordinate the documentation required for the funeral and cremation process and guide
the family through what needs to be completed.

Can you arrange a funeral at home?

Where circumstances and applicable requirements allow, we can assist families with
arrangements involving the family home.

Can you arrange repatriation overseas?

Yes.
We assist families with repatriating loved ones from Australia to India, Fiji and other
countries.
This can involve preparation, embalming where required, documentation, consular
requirements, airline arrangements and transportation to the airport.

How much does a funeral cost?

Every funeral is different.
The cost depends on the type of service, coffin, location, crematorium, transport, priest,
flowers and other requirements.
We can discuss your family’s needs and provide a written quotation.

Do you provide Burial Services?

Yes. We can assist families with burial services where this is appropriate to their family’s religious, cultural or personal wishes. Speak with Jainesh about your family’s requirements and we will explain the available options and guide you through the arrangements.
